Our history
We started Peach State Medical Institute after a personal experience with our father’s care in a rehab facility. Seeing the impact of CNA shortages and inconsistent training inspired us to create a program that prepares skilled, compassionate caregivers. As sisters with strong healthcare and education backgrounds, we’re committed to giving our students more than just classroom knowledge - we give them the confidence, hands-on skills, and support to succeed in the workforce and make a real difference.
Our Team
Joy Vason - Co-Founder
Joy began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, giving her first hand knowledge of the challenges and rewards that come with the role. With a strong background in education and training, Joy is dedicated to ensuring students feel supported, empowered, and fully prepared for success. She bridges her CNA experience with her leadership in operations to create a program that's practical, student-centered, and impactful.
Jessica Vason - Co-Founder
Jessica is a dedicated nursing student with years of hands-on patient care experience. She brings her passion of clinical excellence, safety, and compassionate care into the classroom. Jessica is committed to preparing students not only to pass their exams, but to thrive in the fast-paced healthcare environment with confidence and skill.
Together, we combine healthcare expertise and educational leadership to build a program that empowers future healthcare workers with the confidence, skills, and compassion to succeed.
